Phone charging stations for pubs and bars.

Guests arrive mid-evening on half a battery, with photos, group chats and the taxi home still to come. When the phone dies the night ends early and the tab closes with it.

Where the charging kiosk sits.

  • Guests

Rent a power bank with a card tap and charge a phone at the table while the night carries on.

  • Kiosk

Sits on the back bar or beside the till, where guests already queue. Demand peaks with evening trade.

  • Venue

Guests stay for the next round, and every rental pays the venue a revenue share.

Most pubs and bars run the Pro-12. Twelve slots cover a Friday and Saturday peak without a mid-service restock, and the screen sits at eye level along the bar.

You could always tell whose phone had died, because that was the table asking for the bill. These days they charge it at the table and usually stay for another round.

Pubs & bars, in detail.

Where does the phone charging kiosk go in a pub?
On the back bar or beside the till, wherever guests already queue to order. The charging kiosk is 26cm × 20cm × 39cm and runs on its own dual-network SIM, so it needs a plug socket and nothing else. It does not touch the venue WiFi or the till system.
What happens on a busy Saturday night?
A Pro-12 holds twelve powerbanks and guests typically rent a power bank for two to three hours, so units cycle back through the evening. ZAPT monitors stock live and replenishes automatically when a kiosk drops below half, with next-day delivery.
Do the bar staff have to do anything?
No. Guests tap a contactless card at the phone charging kiosk and take a power bank themselves. There are no accounts, no app and no downloads, so staff carry on serving. Returns go back into any free slot on any ZAPT kiosk on the network.
